WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERCALE & SATEEN?
- Percale: This fabric is made using a simple crisscross pattern of one thread over, one thread under. It has a crisp, matte finish and feels cool and breathable against the skin. Percale sheets are known for their durability and are ideal for people who prefer a fresh, airy feel.
- Sateen: Sateen is woven in a pattern of one thread under and three or four threads over, which gives it a smooth, lustrous finish. This weave creates a silkier, more luxurious texture that drapes beautifully and offers a slight sheen.
In summary, choose Percale if you want a light, crisp, and cool sleeping experience. Or choose Sateen if you prefer a smooth, silky texture with a bit more warmth and luxury.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THREAD COUNTS?
Thread count refers to the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric. Understanding thread counts helps you choose the best bed linens for your comfort and needs.
- Quality vs. Quantity: Higher thread count doesn’t always mean better quality. The quality of the cotton and the finishing process also play crucial roles, guaranteeing that all our thread counts are of a great quality.
- Durability: Lower thread counts can be more durable and easier to care for, especially in high-usage situations like rental properties or commercial laundries.
- Comfort Preference: Choose a thread count that matches your personal comfort preferences and the climate where you live. Lower threads count for hotter climates, and higher thread counts for colder climates.
In summary, thread count is an indicator of the fabric's density and feel, but it’s not the only factor to consider. Balance thread count with fabric quality, type of weave, and your specific comfort needs for the best bedding experience.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TOWEL GSM?
GSM (grams per square meter) measures the weight and density of the fabric in towels. It indicates how thick and absorbent a towel will be.
- 500 GSM: Best for everyday use, gym towels, and travel. These towels are easy to wash and dry quickly, making them convenient for frequent use.
- 520 GSM: Best for daily use with a bit more plushness and absorbency. Suitable for guest towels or for those who prefer a balance between lightness and absorbency. These towels also feature ribbed ends, given them a more fashionable look as well as durability.
- 550 GSM: These towels are great for guests, bathrooms, and those who enjoy a more luxurious feel without compromising on drying time. The higher quality gives a softer touch, making them more comfortable and absorbent while still relatively easy to care for.
- 650 GSM: These towels are best for a luxury spa-like experience. These towels are perfect for pampering yourself, providing maximum comfort and absorbency. They take longer to dry but provide the ultimate in comfort and luxury.
- Bath Mats: our ranges of towels also included bath mats, though their GSM will be higher then that of a normal towel. For example, the bath mat for the 500 GSM range is 700GSM itself.
Please note that higher GSM towels will incur higher costs at commercial laundries due to their increased weight and density, especially if the towels are already wet. These towels require more time and resources to wash and dry, resulting in higher laundering expenses. For rental properties and hotels, we recommend the lower GSM towels if this is a concern.
