FITTED SHEETS

As the name states, these sheets are designed to hug your mattress snugly, with elasticated corners to keep them in place.

As they are a made to fit the mattress, the size you'll want for your bed will be the same measurement as your mattress. For example, if your bed is 160x200cm, then the fitted sheets you'll need will be 160x200cm.

For 100% cotton bedding, please note that the product sizes already include a 4% increase over the requested size, as it is normal for cotton to shrink slightly after the first wash due to its natural fibre composition.

FLAT SHEETS

Flat sheets are a bit more versatile, they can be used in place of a fitted sheet and placed under the sleeper and tucked under the mattress, or used as a lightweight alternative to a duvet in hotter climates.

These sheets should be larger than your mattress to allow for proper tucking. For a 160x200cm bed, we recommend a flat sheet measuring 260x280cm to ensure good coverage and comfort.

DUVET COVERS

Choosing the right size duvet cover depends on the size of your duvet, but the size of your duvet can also depends on the size of bed you have.

If you have a 160x200cm bed, then the most common size of duvet for that bed would be 230x220cm or 240x220cm.

If you already have a duvet for your bed, then make sure to measure it, as not always will the size of your duvet be the commonly used size for the bed you have. For example, you could be using a 260x220cm duvet (Super King) for a 160x200cm bed (King).

PILLOW CASES

Pillow cases are sized according to the pillow itself. The most common sizes are 75x50cm or 90x50cm, but there are other sizes such as 60x40cm, or square pillows such as 60x60cm or 80x80cm.

For pillow cases, similar to fitted sheets, the size of the pillow case will be the same as the pillow insert. For example, a 75x50cm pillow will need a 75x50cm pillow case.

Keep in mind that some pillow protectors can make pillow cases harder to insert the pillow into.
