The family business was set up in 2003, we became Linen-etc.com in 2007 using our previous experience in both property management and supplying the hospitality sector, so we knew what commercial companies were looking for.
Buying bedding is not the easiest task and I remember my first buying experience on arrival in Portugal in 2001 where I was faced with a selection of the wrong size sheets for my UK beds. For this reason it has always been important that we have sizes to suit all beds and a team of advisors who speak a range of languages, have the training to answer clients questions and ensure they acquire the right products.
We are retailers, wholesalers and trade suppliers and having such a diverse market enables us to have competitive prices for quality products, especially for larger trade orders. We have many happy returning customers who have bought either in one of our showrooms, by email, online or by phone.
We have gone from a very modest start in 2007 with a shop in Salema, one staff member, a van and a stock value of 35,000€ to two stores, 11 members of staff, 3 vehicles and a stock holding of 220,000€.
Linen-etc.com has developed its expertise and relationships over 14 years by working with top textile manufacturers in Portugal to bring you the very best range of products. Ecological and sustainable, over 90% of our products are manufactured in Portugal. And, we guarantee no bobbling or shrinkage of towels and sheets when washed up to 60 degrees.
